52 Weeks - Week 4

When I was redoing the blog I wanted a picture of us to use as a header. We went through some from our vacation and realized we didn't have that many pictures together. So we thought this week's picture should be something of us. We headed to downtown Rogers to a spot I had in mind but when we got there I decided it wasn't what I was thinking about. So we drove around for awhile looking for ideas and we finally thought about Pea Ridge Battlefield so we headed out there and ended up with this shot. So I think it was happy accident.

Friday Fun Thoughts

I just thought I would let everyone know since I think it is neat. As you can tell we redesigned the blog. If you notice the blue pattern in the background. The pattern comes from a picture I took when we were at the Getty Center it was the background behind some artwork and I thought it was interesting. So now I feel like our blog is fine art as well, all I need is a bench and some security guards and I can sit back and enjoy :)

52 Weeks - Week 3

I'm a little slow getting this up this week. Anyways, here is week 3. I was thinking of some ideas for pictures and I was going to do some shooting on Sunday, but we ended up going and playing tennis with some friends. I found out that tennis uses lots of muscles that I don't, needless to say I didn't feel like leaving the house. So I decided I would try my hand at some hard light portraits so that I didn't have to set up too much stuff. We had fun and I stuck Chelsey on camera duty again.

52 Weeks - Week 2

This is a picture I've been wanting to do for a while. Me and Chelsey took this in downtown Rogers in a little alley. I think it is interesting, it kind of makes me think of the old jazz performers out on the street playing for change. Also, I got a chance to incorporate my guitar that Chelsey got me for Christmas last year. Overall it was a fun experience running around downtown at 11:00 at night with a bunch of lights and camera gear. I've got some more ideas for night shots so I'm sure we'll be out there again.

52 Weeks - Week 1

I wanted to let everyone know about a new project we have going on. Each week either me or Chelsey will be posting a photo to the blog along with a little note about whats going on. Hope everyone enjoys it, it was a good excuse to take pictures and hopefully show up on the blog some more.

Week 1 - We didn't have a lot of time to shoot this, but I think it turned out fun. It just shows Chelsey looking through the pages out of one my photo albums. I thought what better way to start a new series of pictures than to look at old pictures.

Hopefully I'll get another picture up later this week since this picture is actually from last but we were a little slow getting it posted since we just got back from vacation (and we've both been sick since we got back, at least it waited!)
